Sometimes friends there aren't from Rio ask me about cool restaurants over here. Well, Rio is a big city, and, of course, you have lots of places to enjoy - and depending on the the person you ask you are going to receive very different suggestions. So, below I present you my opinions about the places in Rio you must visit/go in my opinion. Coooooool places. Check it out by yourself! Hope you will enjoy!:-)

Vez por outra, amigos(as) que não são do Rio de Janeiro me perguntam a respeito de lugares legais para almoçar ou jantar aqui pela cidade. Bem, o Rio é uma cidade grande e oferece uma enorme gama de opcões, assim, dependendo da pessoa para quem você perguntar, receberá sugestões beeeem diferentes. Few deatils: It's a hippie chic place with crazy decoration, but in the end the craziness worked realy well. Great service, amazing good food for all kinds of taste.
Nice hint: Ask for a table up stairs, because then you will sit on a futton. Very comfortble, different and nice. Ah! Don't go there with fancy shoes, because you are going to have to take it off (to go to the second floor). Well, nothing ever happend over there with no ones shoes, but...well, ever since I saw that Sex and The City chapter that Carrie take off her Blanik sandals in a party and ends up with a par of sneakers I become a little bit more careful. Lol! Truth! Oh! And if you can, just make a reservation in advanced. Better safe then sorry. You can order a table trought the site.
What else? Ask for the appetizers made of arabian bread or the bruscheta with brie cheese, order some crazy drink from the manu (they have amazing good ones - my favorite is the one wit dark chocolate) and then go for.

This is one of the fanciest & cool places in town. The nicest people form Rio o there in order to socialize.
Well, if you like Japanese food, that is the perfect place to go. They have a very distinct cut which makes food tasteful - and if you like Japanese food you know what I am talking about.
Nice hint: Try the Spyce Salmon.
What else? Take a light jacket with you, because air conditioner over there is always on settin the temperature always around 71,6 degrees fahrenheit.

Attention gluten free people: this small and cosy bistro just serves crepes made of sarracenian whey (Fagopyrum esculentum). Amaaaaaaaaazing good crepes.
Nice hint: Well, it is hard to pick up one in order to suggest, but I must say I have a special predilection for the one with shrimps.

This restaurant offers a very relaxing but also modern atmosphere.
Nice hint: Ask for a table at the balcony and do not go straight for the main course. They offer as entrance some breads...made in haven!

Looking for a place tat offers really good arabian food? Tis is the place. Local is really simple, and usually just locals o there, but give it a try and you wont regret. They have kibes, kaftas, esfirras, eggplants field wit rice and meet, etc.
Nice hint: They have this delicious kibe made of whey and cheese. Yes, no meet - for vegetarians.
