This brazilian 27 year old girl that lives in Italy is just about to launch her second collection here in Brazil. The first one had 70 pairs and was available at Via Flores. Prices start at R$900,00 (more or less U$560,00), but keep in mind that her shoes and all hand made by the same craftsman that develops Louboutin & Blahnik shoes.

You know those times when you are running out of fuel so you go to the first coffee shop you are able to find to recover your energies... besides coffee & cake you are also able to find kindness and positivity? Don't you think this makes all the difference?

I must say Starbucks isn't the first brand that comes to my mind when I feel like grabbing a cup of coffee with something sweet, but...what a great message!

These small details make all the difference to me. Starbucks just gain a lot of brownie - lol - points actually, for spreading positivity.;-) Well, it worked for me!

THE WOMAN'S BRIDGE I PONTE DA MULHER

Well, in Buenos Aires there's always something cool going on somewhere. For example, in Puerto Madero you can watch a beautiful sunset right beside the river (couple small pic above) near the Woman's Bridge ("Puente de la Mujer"). Just a curiosity: the bridge has this name because of the architectural form that resembles a feminine heel.;-) Truth! Look at the big picture above. Well, but this is just something for the end of the afternoon. As I said, in Buenos Aires there's always something nice going on, so, slle just once you are about to go home, but not before you go through EZEIZA'S FREE SHOP. ;-)

Bem, em Buenos Aires tem sempre algo legal acontecendo em algum cantinho da cidade. Por exemplo, em Porto Madeiro dá para assistir a um belíssimo por do sol as margens do rio (nas duas pequenas fotos acima), próximo à Ponte da Mulher ("Puente de la Mujer"). Curiosidade: recebe este nome por causa do formato arquitetônico que lembra um salto de sapato feminino.;-) Verdade! Observem a foto acima. Bem, mas esse é programinha para a tarde. Como eu disse, em Buenos Aires tem sempre algo legal acontecendo, então, deixe para dormir quando estiver para voltar para casa, mas não antes de passar pelo FREE SHOP de EZEIZA. ;-)

BUYING L'ORÉAL, LIFETEX, REDKEN AND KÉRASTASE PRODUCTS IN BUENOS AIRES I COMPRANDO PRODUTOS L'ORÉAL, LIFETEX, REDKEN E KÉRASTASE EM BUENOS AIRES

In Buenos Aires, at the center of the city, there's a famous street called Florida (photo), with all kinds of stores - a bunch of multibrand stores, small shops selling beauty products, as well as Mac and Havana, of course.


The beauty product's stores are simple, usually small and frequently reveal lack of creativity when it when displaying there products at the window, so it's easy to pass and not notice the wonderful things that are hiden inside. Yes, I'm talking about bottles of 1.5 liters of the best brands shampoos, conditioners and hair styling creams, at prices that do not resemble even remotely the prices charged here in Brazil.


Personally I am fan of L'oréal Professionnel Paris products, but inside these stores you will be able to find also products Lifetex, Redken, Kérastase, etc. Well, Kérastase products are not everywhere - the shop I visited didn't have that brand - but I'm sure if I had check around I would have been able to find.


Ah! A reminder: if you're going to Buenos Aires and decide to buy these beauty products, just remember to well pack the products and to live them in the suit case that will be to be despatched, because handbags can't countain anything with more than 100 ml.

No centro da cidade de Buenos Aires tem uma rua super famosa chamada Florida (foto ao lado). Lá tem lojas de todas as sortes - uma séééérie de lojinhas multimarcas e de produtos de beleza além de lojas como Mac e Havana, é claro.


As lojas de produtos de beleza são simples, em geral pequenas e não apresentam uma vitrine muito atrativa, então é fácil passar e não notar as coisas maravilhosas que estas lojas escondem. Sim, estou falando de shampoos, condicionadores e cremes para pentear cabelos de 1,5 litros, das melhores marcas, a preços que não se parecem nem de longe com os preços praticados aqui no Brasil.


Eu, por exemplo, sou fã dos produtos da L'oréal Professionnel Paris, mas nestas lojas também é possível encontrar-se produtos Lifetex, Redken, Kérastase, etc. Bem, os produtos da Kérastase não são encotrados em tooooodas as lojas - na lojinha onde eu fiz minhas compras não tinha essa marca - mas tenho certeza de que se tivesse rodado um pouquinho achava.


Ah! Um lembrete: se estiver indo a Buenos Aires e comprar estes produtos, lembre-se apenas de embalar tudo com muito cuidado e de guardá-los na mala que será despachada, pois a mala de mão não pode conter nenhum produto líquido com mais de 100 ml.

BUENOS AIRES STRESS FREE I BUENOS AIRES SEM ESTRESSE

Well, the city is one of those cities that never sleeps, full of life. Natural beauty, beautiful architecture, boutiques and history blend and transform the city into phenomenal touristic spot. Just, don't expect the same service you get in Brazil. The truth is that we - brazilians - are very spoiled. The service here in Brazil is very peculiar: "the customer is always right and always receives what requests, in the way requested and in the shortest time possible". If you live in Sao Paulo then... better take some passion fruit for the trip and remember: "no stress" - relax, grab a coffee (by the way - there are cosy small coffee shops everywhere!) and enjoy this beautiful city, the super famous designers stores, multibrand stores, etc.:-)

Bem, a cidade é daquelas cidades que nunca dorme, pois é cheia de vida. Belezas naturais, belas obras arquitetônicas, lojas de grifes e história misturam-se e transformam a cidade num ponto turístico fenomenal. Só não vá esperando o mesmo atendimento que você recebe aqui no Brasil. A verdade é que nós - brasileiros - estamos muito mal acostumados. O atendimento aqui no Brasil é muito peculiar: "o cliente tem sempre razão e sempre recebe o pedido do jeito que solicita no menor espaço de tempo possível". Se você mora em São Paulo então....é melhor levar maracujina na mala e lembre-se: "no stresse" - relaxe, compre um expresso (por falar nisso - existem pequenas e aconchegantes lojinhas de café por toda a parte!) e aproveite as belezas de Buenos Aires, as lojas de grife, as lojas multimarcas, etc.:-)

In Buenos Aires, during the first day - while I was walking at the center of the city - I coudn't stop thinking about Andy Warhol. Let me explain you all "why". I could see the street sellers everywhere offering the same fake stuf we are able to find in Rio. At first I was speechless, but then I realized: this is the AGE of Mechanical Reproduction, of large scale production, of massive reproduction. The first thing that will came to everybody's mind when these subjects pop up is the POP ART movement - and that is how Andy Warhol reached my thoughts.


Some people are very uptights about POP ART and many times - by mistake - associates pop art to cheap and worthless. But, don't go there. POP ART is about modern techniques and irony. It's about remove the info from its context for contemplation. And in the end...it's not about the art anymore, but about the attitude. So, POP ART confronts elitist culture, emphasizes the banal or kitschy elements and uses irony. Very rebel and subversive. Like Gabrile Chanel. Don't you think? If you watched "Coco Avant Chanel" with Audrey Tautou you know what I am talking about. That is why I decided to "play Andy Warhol" with her pic.

Em Buenos Aires, durante o primeiro dia - andando no centro da cidade - eu não conseguia parar de pensar em Andy Warhol. Deixe-me explicar o porquê. Havia os vendedores ambulantes por toda a parte oferecendo as mesmas coisas falsas que somos podemos encontrar aqui no Rio de Janeiro. No começo eu fiquei sem palavras, mas depois percebi: esta é a era de sua reprodutibilidade, de produção em larga escala, de reprodução em massa. Eu acho que a primeira coisa que vem à mente de todos é o movimento POP ART - e foi assim que Andy Warhol chegou aos meus pensamentos.


Algumas pessoas torçem o nariz para a POP ART e muitas vezes - por engano - associam tal movimento a produtos baratos e sem valor. Mas, não vá por aí. A POP ART tem a ver com técnicas modernas de produção e ironia. Trata-se de remover a informação de seu contexto para a contemplação e, no final,... não se trata mais da arte, mas da atitude. Assim, a POP ART confronta cultura elitista, enfatiza os elementos banais ou kitschys e utiliza a ironia. Muito rebelde e subversivo. Como Gabrile Chanel. Você não acha? Se você assistiu "Coco Avant Chanel" com Audrey Tautou você sabe do que estou falando. É por isso que eu decidi "dar uma de Andy Warhol", com sua foto.

THE ARGENTINIAN FREE SHOP I O FREE SHOP ARGENTINO

Well, I was thinking about the nice hints I am planning to share with you all about Argentina, but the first thing that came to my mind was the nice things I was able to get at the argentinian free shop. Lol! Yes, I admit, I am one of those woman that love a big free shop. But, as I said couple times before - here at this blog - I am rather a smart buyer than a "hard" one. I mean, I won't buy like a crazy person everything I can see. I will take a look at the things disposed at the shelves and I will came back for the nicest ones - in my opinion.:-)


So, I will start to talk about Buenos Aires from the very end end of the trip: THE FREE SHOP! I mean end because it was the last thing I did before live Buenos Aires. If you have ever been to Buenos Aires (EZEIZA AIRPORT) you know what I am talking about. And if you didn't go there...yet...keep in mind that this free shop is SPECIAL. It's a huge area with very well defined and illuminated spaces...plus maaaaagic air (Ops! I am exagerating a little bit - lol - but this argentinian one is something!:-) ). But, lets forget exaggerations. Inside the free shop you will be able to find a Mac Store and also a Victoria's Secret Store- both with all the nice stuff we were always able to see at the internet and at the magazines, but were never able to find (for very nice prices - beliave!). If they start giving free coffee it will become paradise on earth!;-)

Bem, eu estava pensando nas informações que gostaria de compartilhar com vocês sobre a Argentina, mas a primeira coisa que me veio à mente foi o free shop. Risos! Sim, eu admito, eu sou uma daquelas mulheres que adora um free shop. Mas, como eu já disse algumas vezes aqui neste blog: eu não compro de forma agressiva, mas sim de forma inteligente, ou seja eu não compro tudo o que aparece na minha frente. Prefiro olhar as prateleiras com calma e depois voltar para pegar as coisas mais legais - na minha opinião.:-)


Então, vou começar a falar de Buenos Aires de trás para frente, ou do final para o início: o FREE SHOP! Digo final porque pelo menos eu deixei para visitar o free shop de lá na saída. Se você já esteve no aeroporto de Ezeiza você sabe do que eu estou falando! E se você não foi lá...ainda...tenha em mente que este free shop não deve passar em "brancas nuvens". Risos! Que free shop fantástico! Ele é enorme e tem espaços bem definidos, iluminados e uma atmosfera mááááááágica (Ops! Exagerei! Risos!). Bem, mas deixando os exageros de lado...o que eu vou falar agora é a mais pura verdade: dentro dele tem as lojas da Mac e da Victoria's Secret, com todas as coisas que a gente vê na internet e nas revistas, mas nunca conseguiu encontrar (por preços muito competitivos - acredite!). Se começarem a dar café de graça por lá, vira o paraíso na terra!;-)
